MEET your INSTRUCTOR

Hello there!

When I was just ten years old, I discovered my love for fashion design. I would spend hours upon hours sketching and designing my dream garments, it's safe to say I was obsessed!

After high school, I enrolled at the University of Texas AT AUSTIN with the intention of becoming a doctor. However, during my second year, I realized that fashion design was truly where my heart belonged. I changed my major and dove headfirst into the world of fashion, learning everything from designing and sketching to draping, patternmaking, and sewing.

After graduating from UT, I participated in local fashion shows and it was an amazing experience! Although I wasn't able to move to any of the "fashion capitals," I never stopped designing and creating garments and home decor as my beloved hobby.

For years, I worked in the corporate world to support my family while still pursuing my passion for fashion. Then, in 2023, I had an epiphany: why not share my love for the textile arts with others? There are bound to be people out there who share my passion but just need a little guidance.

And that's how Studio Sew Sew was born! I invite you to join us and explore the endless possibilities of creativity together. Who knows where this journey might lead us?
